July Staycation - odds and ends

We decided to make the school holidays a bit more fun, so we asked the children to each name a few things that they would love to do, and made sure everyone got to do something on their list.

We saved a bit by buying groupons, using discount days & loyalty cards (movies) and planning ahead. I also scoured the free newspaper/magazine that came from the school that listed LOTS of fun things to do with the family.

Karoo Restaurant I loved the d├ęcor in this restaurant!

The great thing about staying at home is that my garden doesn't suffer! I have been faithfully watering and tending it and its looking lovely.
