These recipes come fro Be Ro, my Nan used these recipes during the 2nd World War, I love them because they use the most basic ingredients and are always successful.
All the recipes are now available online - YAY!
Last year a friend brought lavender shortbread to the craft club, it was lovely. So I use the Be Ro recipe but first I added  fresh lavender flowers to the sugar a ground it up in the food processor. I used this sugar in the shortbread recipe.

Ginger Snaps
These are really tasty and go hard, so they are great to dip in your coffee. I used butter instead of margarine

These recipes make small batches, 24 biscuits at a time. So double up if you need more.
