Sour Cherry Crumb Cakes

I was so excited to see the first cherries out at the shops and bitterly disappointed when the fruit was sour. I was longing for the fresh sweet cherries that we get at Christmas!

But R60's worth of sour cherries was not going to be wasted!

The recipe was easy and uses basic ingredients - so I didn't have to go shopping :)
And it was worth the sour cherries, stained fingers from stoning the cherries, 1 hour cooking time and much longer cooling time!

It is delicious ... I hope I can get more sour cherries!
